Professional players are the instructors!
Summer camps are for all ball players seeking to improve and learn new skills. Players will work through skills to learn a routine that can be used at home. Each day will consist of a throwing program, agility training, strength/conditioning, and skill development in the areas of hitting, pitching, and fielding.
Hitting: mechanics to increase contact and power, stride, bat speed, mental approach, two-strike approach, situational hitting, and bunting.
Pitching: mechanics to maximize control and velocity, grips, mental approach, pitch selection, and fielding from the mound.
Infielders: angles, forehands, backhands, pivots, slow rollers, and throwing to bases.
Outfielders: drop-steps, angles, cut-offs, crow-hops, communication, and catching ball at the fence.
Catchers: receiving, framing, blocking, and footwork for throwing to bases.
Within each camp, players will be grouped by position, skill, and age.
